Frequently Asked Questions

How does ABC make money if the platform is free to use for their business operator customers?
  • ABC realizes the power of what is known as “economies of scale” and leverages that by making the platform free for ABC customers in order to obtain a very large customer base. Furthermore, those ABC customers are only accessible to vendors and service companies if they partner with ABC to become a preferred vendor in any one of our over 70 service categories. So, due to the collective buying power that ABC creates by attracting a large, proprietary customer base, vendors are willing to pay ABC for the chance to service our customer base–which means that ABC is able to charge vendors for access to our platform–NOT ABC customers.
How many ABC Preferred Vendors are available in each service category?
  • There is only one “Preferred Vendor” in each service category. That is the vendor or service company that gets the first opportunity for any ABC customer job requested through the ABC platform. However, in most cases, ABC will have multiple backup vendor service companies in each category in order to create vendor redundancy for any and all possible contingency scenarios that may arise.
Do ABC customers have a choice of which ABC category vendor or service company is assigned to them when a job is requested on the platform?
  • No. The “Preferred Vendor” for that service category will be automatically assigned to the customer job request.
What happens if an ABC customer doesn’t feel comfortable in committing to the ABC Preferred Vendor Service company assigned to them after the initial meeting or service call consultation? Are ABC customers required to commit to that company as part of the ABC customer agreement?
  • No commitment is required at any time to any ABC Preferred Vendor who is accessed through our platform. If ABC customers are not satisfied or comfortable for any reason during or anytime after the initial service call arrival or service consultation, ABC customers are free to retain any company they choose with no explanation required to ABC or the ABC Preferred Vendor Service company originally assigned to their job request.
Is the company name of the ABC Preferred Vendor in each category visible to the customer?
  • No. There are many reasons for this–none of which have any bearing on the ABC customer experience. Additionally, because ABC customers are not obligated at any point to commit to the ABC Preferred Vendor assigned to them when a job request is submitted on our platform, there is no need for any additional vendor company transparency at the customer level. Most importantly, the two main reasons that ABC customers are drawn to the ABC platform is 1.) the ABC preferred customer pricing promise and 2.) the fact that ABC has conducted the rigorous vetting process for the customer, thus saving the customer the time and effort of having to do it themselves–which is not a revenue-generating task for any business operator.
Will the ABC preferred customer pricing discount be visible on the invoicing or quote provided by the ABC Preferred Vendor Service company?
  • Yes. All ABC Preferred Vendor Service companies are required to disclose, in writing, their regular pricing for any invoice, less the ABC preferred customer pricing prior to the final quote or invoice total given to the ABC customer.
Do ABC customers pay ABC directly for completed ABC Preferred Vendor Service company jobs?
  • No. ABC customers will be invoiced directly from the ABC Preferred Vendor Service company and, therefore, will also pay the ABC Preferred Vendor Service company directly.
Does ABC check their Preferred Vendor Service Companies to make sure they are giving ABC customers the ABC Preferred Customer Pricing? If so, how often does ABC check?
  • Yes. All ABC Preferred Vendor Service companies are required to submit all customer initial quotes and final invoices directly to ABC for approval PRIOR to our customer committing to and/or paying for any completed job. This process creates a check and balance system that ABC can directly control. This ensures that all of our customers are receiving pricing that is in line with what was promised to ABC customers during our thorough vetting and onboarding process.
